Cafe Bellie is a recurring bellydance open stage for both the budding performer and seasoned pro and a benefit for The Women's Daytime Drop-In Center of Berkeley.

Since September of 2002, Cafe Bellie and the Bay Area bellydance community have raised over $10,000 for homeless women and children in the East Bay.

Held three times a year in April, August and December, Cafe Bellie has grown to a popular event featuring both the best and upcoming bellydancers in the Bay Area.

vendors provide dancers an opportunity to purchase bellydance costumes, music and more...

students are exposed to the diversity of teaching styles available locally...

audience members are treated to an entire evening of solo and troupe performances...

professional sound and lighting technicians create a theatrical setting for the dance in a cafe atmosphere..
